A happy boy

It's so very interesting how different each child is.... from Lydia who as a baby it was exhausting to try and get her to crack a smile to little giggly Abe. He is laughing and smiling all the time. I actually grabbed the camcorder about 5 minutes after he was laughing at Dan, so this is the tail end of his giggle session.

Krafty Kaleidoscope

Abram 7 month pictures

A couple of weeks ago I took Abe to JcPenney's to get some pictures taken, and they got so many cute shots it was very hard to pick. But here are some cute pictures of my baby boy.

Paige's first day of Preschool

Paige's first day of preschool was supposed to be on Sept. 1, however that morning she was very sick. She was so sad she had to miss the first day of preschool, but thankfully her illness was short lived and she was able to go for her first day on Sept. 3. S he looked adorable! Here are some pictures of her.
In this picture Paige is wearing her first pair of dangling earrings along with a coordinating necklace that I got her for her first day of school. She loves them especially since she feels left out of the "new school clothes experience". It has been rough for Paige since she only got 1 new outfit for school and Savannah got a few more- we just have a hard time buying her clothes when she has so many that she can barely close her dresser drawers.
And here she is with her backpack. Yet again another hand-me-down from Savvy. Next year when she hits the big "K" we'll have to let her pick out a new backpack and a few more clothes.

Savannah's first day of 2nd grade

It has been a much anticipated event- but the yesterday was the day Savannah went to her first day of 2nd grade. Everything about her first day went great, and she was so excited when she got home. She said she had the best day ever! Her favorite part of the day was getting to play heads up 7-up. In her words "Mom have you ever heard of heads up 7-up? It was this really cool game and I got to be it only because I guessed the name of the person who touched my thumb!!!!" She has such enthusiasm for the little things in life.
Here she is! She looked so cute! She was excited about her new "dangling earrings" and I thought it was cute that she stuck sunglasses on her head. She's so stylin. She told me her friends didn't even recognize her with her new haircut.
Here is this year's back pack. She was very excited about it and attached several accessories to the zipper. Also, she insisted on having a house key (also attached to the zipper) even though we reassured her that I would always be home after school to let her in. She said a boy in her class told her that her back pack was cool, and he wanted to know where she got it and if they had anymore without pink polka dots. Hee hee!
Here she is walking to the bus stop! It felt like a longer, much more quiet day. We missed our busy little Savvy.

Savannah plays the Blues

This last Friday Savannah performed in a little blues concert. Her piano teacher had hired a blues band to play along with her students. They all did well and it was a lot of fun. It was a great little performance!
